Important Dates:
Nominations are invited for the Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS) 2010 Doctoral Consortium. The consortium will be held on 28-30 November 2010, immediately prior to the 2010 ACIS Conference, in Brisbane, Queensland (December 1-3). The Consortium provides a unique opportunity for doctoral students in Information Systems to present their research to an audience of peers and senior faculty in a sharing, supportive environment, and participate in a number of plenary sessions with senior Information Systems academics. This year, the keynote for the event will be presented by Professor Gordon Davis, University of Minnesota. Consortium activities will commence with Registration and Introductions late afternoon on the Sunday, 28th November, followed by a barbeque dinner. Formal events are scheduled all day on the 29th and through mid-afternoon on the 30th November. The event, the barbeque on the 28th November, and the consortium dinner on the 29th November, areis generously sponsored by the Australian Council of Professors and Heads of Information Systems (ACPHIS). Each of the two main days will focus on providing constructive feedback to students on their research. Students will present their research in small groups, each of which will be assisted by two academics. Experienced academics will also participate in practical research-career related plenary sessions. Objectives
